At temperatures up to 250°C the POM plain bearing bushing present in the lining material is completely inert so that even on the rare occasions in which bushes are drilled or sized after assembly there is no danger in boring or burnishing.
Acetal resin liner:
Although POM bushing only have moderate performance in the complete absence of lubricant, the response of the polymer provides superior bearing performance in the presence of even a trace of conventional oil or grease.

Why are we the best?
We have a range of sliding cylindrical bearings made from a composite structure material. The support consists of carbon steel backed on which a porous layer of bronze is sintered then impregnated with a co-acetal plastic. The polymer surface has indentations in which the lubricating grease is located and protects the contact surface. The main products in the bushings range are cylindrical rings (DIN 1494), as well as special parts made to customer specifications.

Standard bushings contain grease indents in the sliding layer; Plain Bearing Bushing Sliding layer POM (MoS2)/lubrication pockets available on request.
Bushing sizes are according to DIN 1494/ ISO 3547 with tolerances to be press fitted into a H7 housing for a h8 shaft tolerance.MoS2 is a friction modifier and is often used in heavy duty greases for its good resistance in compression.
