Customized Metal Polymer Bushings

Such products are generally referred to as oil-free bearings or composite bearings, because the products can be used without refueling. The structure is simple and the maintenance is convenient. The structure can be divided into straight column, rib type, flat gasket type and plane guide plate type;

According to the base material, it can be divided into the following types:

1. Low carbon steel substrate (SF-1): It is a high-quality low carbon steel cold-rolled plate as the substrate, sintered spherical bronze powder in the middle, and the surface is rolled with modified PTFE. The carbon steel substrate bears the load and is specially formulated for compound lubrication. The material acts as a lubricant. It has the characteristics of high bearing capacity, impact resistance, high temperature resistance and strong self-lubricating ability;

2. Stainless steel substrate (SF-1S): Take 304 or 316 stainless steel plate as the substrate, sinter spherical bronze powder in the middle, and roll the modified PTFE anti-friction layer on the surface or directly spray the PTFE anti-friction layer. It has the advantages of good self-lubrication, wear resistance and corrosion resistance. The products are used in acid-base flowmeters, pump valves and corrosion-resistant parts in the marine industry in the chemical industry;

3. Bronze matrix (SF-1B): The phosphor bronze alloy is used as the matrix, the spherical bronze layer is sintered in the middle, and the mixture of PTFE and oil-clearing fiber is rolled on the surface. It has the advantages of excellent self-lubrication, low coefficient of friction, corrosion resistance, and no sparks when impacted. Products are widely used in metallurgical machinery, continuous casting machines, cement grouting machinery, screw conveyors, gas valves, etc.

4. Low carbon steel base body with oil pockets (SF-2): High-quality low carbon steel cold-rolled sheet is sintered spherical bronze powder in the middle of the base body, and the surface is rolled with modified polyoxymethylene (POM), and contains oil storage holes. It is enough to lubricate once every time (fill the oil pocket with grease). Under the condition of boundary lubrication, it can be used for a long time without refueling, and has the characteristics of low cost, long life, saving refueling frequency, and simplifying replacement procedures. It is suitable for low-speed and medium-load places under normal temperature conditions, and is widely used in automobile chassis, forging and pressing machine tools, metallurgical mining machinery, construction machinery, water and electricity, and steel rolling industries;

Use features:

The pairing conditions are wide, and shafts made of stainless steel, chrome-plated steel, hard anodized aluminum, etc. can be used for PTFE-based bearings. It is recommended that when the compound is less than 49MPa, the shaft surface hardness is greater than HB120, and the roughness is less than 0.8μm. When the load>49MPa, the shaft surface hardness>HRC50, the roughness<0.6μm. If stainless steel or hard chrome-plated shaft is used, the service life of the bearing will be extended, but the roughness of the shaft is required to be > 0.4μm. After grinding the surface of the shaft, the abrasive particles on the surface should be removed, and the grinding direction is recommended to be consistent with the moving direction of the bearing;

Ambient temperature:

This condition has a great influence on the service life of the bearing. Under dry friction conditions, the frictional heat generated by the friction surface of the bearing depends on the PV value. Given the PV factor, the bearing temperature depends on the surrounding environment. Ambient temperature, bearing seat and heat dissipation to the abrasive surface;

Lubrication: Although PTFE antifriction layer bearings are designed for dry friction conditions, they perform better under lubricated conditions. PTFE antifriction layer bearings can be used in most lubricants: such as water, lubricating oil, mechanical oil, refrigerant, etc. Generally speaking, as long as the PTFE anti-friction layer and alloy layer of the bearing are not chemically corrosive, they can be used. If there is any doubt about this, the bearing can be immersed at room temperature for a week for observation. If there is obvious color difference on the surface and the copper powder layer has obvious microscopic changes, the surface bearing is not suitable for use in this working condition;

Product running-in period: After the running-in period, the wear rate will be reduced to a minimum value, and the exposed area of the copper powder layer will also increase;

50% of the effective service life: Under normal operating conditions, the PTFE mixture will quickly transfer to the surface of the counterpart and physically bond with it, that is, the initial wear is about 0.015mm, which is about 10% of the total length of the exposed bronze on the friction surface , while the excess PTFE mixture falls off as fine flake particles;

End of service life: As the area of the bronze matrix exposed on the friction surface becomes larger and larger, and the wear rate increases, the service life of the bearing is approaching the end; the area of the bronze matrix exposed at this stage accounts for at least 30% of the bearing surface area. 70, the radial wear rate is about 0.06mm.

Metal matrix composite bearing installation:

Composite anti-friction layer bearings are generally finished parts, which can be used directly after assembly, and the inner hole is no longer processed by reaming and boring. The following is the product installation diagram:

Introduction of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE): It is a synthetic polymer material with the characteristics of acid and alkali resistance and resistance to various organic solvents, and is almost insoluble in all solvents. At the same time, polytetrafluoroethylene has the characteristics of high temperature resistance, its friction coefficient is extremely low, and PTFE has outstanding non-stick properties, which limits its industrial application. It is this characteristic, so it is an excellent anti-stick material. This property makes it extremely difficult to bond with the surface of other objects, so it can be used for lubrication. This polymer compound, whose structural formula is -[-CF2-CF2-]n-, has excellent chemical stability and corrosion resistance, and is one of the best corrosion resistance materials in the world today. In addition to chlorine trifluoride, chlorine pentafluoride and liquid fluorine, it is resistant to all other chemicals, and it does not change when boiled in aqua regia. It is widely used in various occasions that require resistance to acid, alkali and organic solvents. It has sealing, high lubricating and non-stick properties, electrical insulation, good anti-aging ability, and excellent temperature resistance (can work at temperatures from +250°C to -180°C for a long time). Teflon itself is not toxic to humans. Use temperature -190 ~ 250 ℃, allowing rapid cooling and rapid heating, or alternating hot and cold operation. Pressure -0.1~6.4Mpa (full vacuum to 64kgf/cm2) (Full vacuum to 64kgf/cm2).

2. Wear-reducing lining material:

When designing sliding bearings, a combination of several materials is sometimes considered, which can give full play to the advantages of various materials and reduce costs appropriately. For example, steel-based products have high load-carrying properties, but their poor wear reduction properties will lock up or scratch the shaft with the matching shaft. If the wear-resistant layer of the steel-based product is covered with a material with good lubricity to isolate the two, it can play a very useful effect. The wear-reducing lining is generally covered on the friction surface of the bearing through sintering, rolling and casting processes. At present, the most common application of self-lubricating bearings is the method of embedding solid lubricants on the inner wall or matrix of the bearing. The materials of the anti-friction layer are roughly divided into the following categories: (Executive Standard: JBT 7924-1995 Metal Multilayer Materials for Sliding Bearings Thin-walled Bearings)

Design, bearing materials and application

Rich application, high plain bearing performance

Metal-polymer composite bearing, low-wear sliding characteristics, maintenance-free or low-maintenance

Self-lubricating composite bearings are used in a wide variety of industries due to pioneering designs that solve long-standing challenges in many industries: agriculture, off-highway equipment, automotive including trucks, garden, lawn and outdoor equipment, hydraulics and valves, Home appliances and consumer goods, material handling, medical and dental, packaging, marine, recreational vehicles, railway equipment, textile equipment and tools are all its application directions, which can be said to cover all aspects of modern life technology society! high product performance

The new metal-polymer composite bearing includes three different material types: bearings with maintenance-free or low-maintenance materials, which are named PTFE and Pom. The two are structurally similar: the porous bronze sintered structure is applied to a steel or copper backing and infused with a special plastic compound. Solid lubricants form a lubricating film between the sliding surfaces, resulting in low-noise operation and a low coefficient of friction throughout use.

Composite bearings of PTFE are basically maintenance-free, that is, there is no requirement for lubrication during the entire operation. Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and various chemically inert additives can be used as lubricants. Such bearings are typically used in fluid technology, sports equipment, medical or electronic equipment, and in the automotive sector.

POM composite bearings are low maintenance and require grease lubrication during initial operation. The sliding layer is mainly composed of polyoxymethylene (POM), a polymer thermoplastic material characterized by low friction values and chemical and thermal stability. This material is mainly used in production machinery, construction, agricultural machinery, and commercial vehicles.

The bearings of the POM sliding layer are maintenance-free film bearings. They are based on a grid structure in which a sliding layer of PTFE and additives is rolled and sintered. This structure can be used both as a base to bear the load and as a sliding layer. There are sliding layers containing PTFE on both sides of the membrane, so that both the inside and outside of the bushing can slide. Another advantage of this material is its ease of molding. Such film bearings are typically used in equipment, tools and hinges.

It is an exporter of self-lubricating bearings and sliding products, and is also a well-known supplier of high-precision oil-free bearings in the fields of gear pumps, gearboxes, pipeline valves and other applications.

By providing self-lubricating bearing services to the global market, it provides rolling bearing, plain bearing and graphite copper sleeve technology to about 60 different industrial sectors around the world. The product range includes custom self-lubricating bearings, oil-free bearing products, from miniature bearings as small as a few millimeters, to large oil-free bearings with an outer diameter of several meters for wind turbines. , which has laid a good foundation for providing long-term high-quality and convenient services to domestic and foreign users
