Self-lubricating Bronze Bearing Solutions
Low-friction bushings
Operation with solid lubricant: bronze sand casting inner eccentric bushing for cone crushers. Standard suppliers of oilless bronze bushings.
The use of polymers and other solid lubricants helps to minimize adhesive friction and wear between sliding metal surfaces. In cast bearings, a running-in film along with PTFE or graphite inserts create a barrier that separates the sliding layers from the mating surfaces. These bearings are engineered to maintain a solid lubricating film even when stationary, ensuring low friction and wear, even under high static loads. By continuously supplying solid lubricant, these bearings deliver consistent friction and wear performance throughout their lifespan. We offer customized spare parts for cone crushers, including self-lubricating bronze bearings tailored to your specifications and material requirements.
Solid Lubricants, Self-lubricating Bronze Bearing Solutions
The specialized PTFE- or graphite-based solid lubricants used in Self-lubricating bearings have undergone extensive laboratory testing and have proven their effectiveness in numerous applications. These solid lubricant plugs are produced through a proprietary process that enhances their density and lubricity, and they are strategically inserted into pockets within the bronze support. The precise distribution of these plugs is crucial to the bearing’s performance. Designed to overlap in the sliding direction, they ensure optimal lubricant transfer to the mating surface. Additionally, these lubricants do not cause any electrolytic or chemical reactions with the support or mating materials, even under high humidity conditions or when submerged in water.
