Custom Machining Capabilities
Material Properties:
Standard Material: CuZn25Al5 / ASTM C86300.
Solid Lubricants:
SL 1: High-density graphite and PTFE, effective up to 350°C. Not suitable for water and vapor environments.
SL 4: Designed for use in water and humid conditions up to 80°C. Features a very low coefficient of friction. Orientation towards motion direction should be specified upon order.
Tolerance Details:
Housing Diameter: H7
Bushing Inner Diameter After Mounting: Standard tolerances: r6/E7. Alternative tolerances available upon request: f7 / h6.
Shaft Tolerance: Specific requirements can be requested by customers.

Specialized Grooving Patterns Custom Parts
Shaft Material:
Requirements: Minimum hardness difference of 100HB compared to the bearing, preferably hardened and ground.
Surface Roughness: Ra 0.2 – 0.8 μm
Mounting Advice:
Housing and Shaft: Minimum chamfer of 1.5 mm x 15-45° for housing and 5 mm x 15° for shaft, with rounded edges.
Fitting Methods: Using a force fitting mandrel is recommended. Grease lubrication of the outer surface may be needed before assembly.
For Large Diameters: For diameters greater than 130mm, using dry ice is advisable.

bearings are maintenance-free.
Initial Lubrication: Requires primary lubrication using an ageing-resistant lithium-stiffened grease. All sizes and measurements can be produced to customer’s specification.
Partnering with Custom Parts
Choosing Custom Parts as your supplier means partnering with a team dedicated to precision, attention to detail, and timely delivery. We work closely with our clients to understand their specific needs and deliver components that meet or exceed their expectations. Our commitment to quality ensures that your custom bronze parts will perform reliably in your final product. Oil or Lubrication groove systems and greater clearance between shaft and bushing will reduce maintenance to a minimum.
