Important Disclaimer

Bearing life is a theoretical estimate based on wear formulas and material properties. Actual service life depends heavily on real-world duty cycles, specific lubrication regimes, and heat dissipation. Calculations assume limits are not exceeded.

⚙️ Matrix Estimation & Life Calculation Logic

Wear Depth (W) = K × P × V × T   ➔   Life (T) = W / (K × PV)

  • W (Wear Limit): Standard engineering replacement threshold set at 0.5mm.
  • Material Wear Factor: The calculator applies unique wear multipliers based on the alloy's hardness. For example, Gcr15 bearing steel outlasts standard Cast Iron under identical PV conditions.
  • High PV Boundary: When PV > 200, equations assume supplementary grease/fluid lubrication. Pure dry friction at extreme PV leads to instantaneous thermal seizing, rendering theoretical calculations void.
