Sf-2 boundary self lubricating bushing
Discover our plain bearings: Flange bearings, sleeve bushings, and thrust washers. Customizable bushing materials available. Our products are wear-resistant, maintenance-free, and designed to withstand dirt, dust, and corrosion.
Oil-free bearing is a kind of novel lubricated bearing that has the characteristics of both metal bearing and oil-free lubrication bearing, the load is borne by the metal matrix, and the special formula of solid lubricating material plays the role of lubrication. It has a high bearing capacity, impact resistance, high-temperature resistance, self-lubricating ability, etc. It is especially suitable for heavy load, low speed, reciprocating or oscillating, and other difficult to lubricate and form oil film occasions, also not afraid of water and other acid corrosion and scouring
self-lubricating bearing bushingsSelf Lubricating Bearings – High Performance
Sf-2 boundary lubricated bearings are made of high-quality low carbon steel with a sintered spherical bronze layer and a rolled surface-modified POM. Under the condition of boundary lubrication, it can be used for a long time without oil, and there is an oil pit on the surface of the wear-resisting layer. Products are widely used in metallurgical machinery, mining machinery, water conservancy machinery, automobile, construction machinery, agricultural machinery, steel rolling industry, etc.
HOW do SELF-LUBRICATING BEARING bushings, equivalent bushes WORK?
For this reason, self-lubricating bearings are also called maintenance-free or grease-free bearings because they do not require relubrication or grease. An example of a self-lubricating bearing is our graphite oil-free ring bearing.
An important distinction to make is that self-lubricating bearings are not bearings pre-applied with lubricating grease or oil – these bearings are instead referred to as pre-lubricated bearings. Pre bearings will require relubrication at some point in their service life. An example of a lubricated bearing is our steel-backed POM coated composite bushes low friction bearing which is marginally lubricated with grease.

Sf-2 boundary lubrication bushing
The product is made of steel plate as the base, sintered spherical bronze powder as the intermediate layer, the surface is rolled by modified POM, and the oil storage pit is provided.
The plastic thickness of the product surface is 0.5mm, with good wear resistance, and can work normally under the condition of little oil or broken oil.
It is suitable for working at room temperature and low speed and heavy load place. It can replace the traditional copper sleeve, reduce the cost and prolong the service life. Products have been widely used in automotive chassis, forging machine tools, metallurgical mining machinery, engineering machinery, hydropower, steel rolling industry, and other fields.

Application characteristics
Sf-2 boundary lubricated bearings are steel plate-based, spherical sintered bronze powder in the middle, rolled surface-modified polyformaldehyde (POM), and contain oil storage pits. It is suitable for room temperature conditions, low-speed medium load place, replace the traditional copper sleeve both reduce the cost and prolong the service life. It can save refueling frequency and simplify replacement procedures when used in a rolling mill.

Metal-Polymer Plain Bearings Grease Lubricated bushing: the best ever global industry standard for marginally lubricated metal polymer plain bearings. Cylindrical bushes, thrust washers, … Metal-polymer bushes, also known as metal-polymer composite bearings, are specialized components used in various industrial applications. These bushes are designed to provide low-friction, high-performance bearing solutions. Here’s a brief overview: Composition: Metal-polymer bushes consist of two primary components – a metal backing and a polymer (plastic) lining. The metal backing provides structural support, while the polymer lining offers low friction and wear-resistant properties. Advantages: Low Friction: The polymer lining reduces friction, making these bushes ideal for applications where smooth, efficient movement is required. Self-Lubricating: Many metal-polymer bushes are self-lubricating, reducing the need for external lubrication. Wear Resistance: The polymer lining enhances wear resistance, increasing the lifespan of the bushes. Diverse Applications: They are used in automotive, industrial, and heavy machinery applications. Selection: The choice between metal-polymer and other types of bushes (e.g., bronze or plastic) depends on specific application requirements and operating conditions. Factors like load capacity, speed, temperature, and environmental conditions influence the selection. Manufacturers: Various companies produce metal-polymer bushes, such as Viiplus.com (source), and others.
