Description
Metal-Polymer Self-lubricating and Maintenance-free Bearing Solutions, Sliding Bush Supplier, Dx bushing sizes chart, flange bushings by size. We’ve had an excellent experience with DX bearings replacement.
POM bushings are made from a steel plate, where the MoS2 is sintered onto the surface, using a bronze powder intermediate layer as a bonding agent. These raw material plates are then cut to a rectangular shape, then wrapped and calibrated to the right size.
The sizes are according to DIN 1494/ ISO 3547 with tolerances to be press-fitted into an H7 housing for an h8 shaft tolerance.
MoS2 is a friction modifier and is often used in heavy-duty greases for its good resistance to compression. However, POM Bushing is not completely maintenance-free, as periodical greasing is still necessary. Hence, the sliding layer is perforated with lubrication pockets.
POM bushing is often used in cranes, truck cranes, tailgates, harbor equipment and agricultural machinery, and construction machines.

Boundary lubricated lead-free bearings
Boundary lubricated lead-free bearings are modified from the matrix of the POM bushes. Its performance is the same as that of the POM bushes, but the surface does not contain lead, and its use can be extended to areas with environmental requirements. At present, the product has been used in imported textile equipment, plunger pump swing parts, auto parts and other medium load, medium speed, grease lubrication occasions.
Polymer bushings are used in a lot of different situations.VIIPLUS offers a full range of plain cylindrical bushings size in accordance with ISO 3547 and DIN 1494, as well as thrust washers and strips.
POM Composite is referred to as pre-lubricated because it requires only a trace of lubricant to operate satisfactorily for long periods. The material is designed to operate with marginal lubrication and effectively fills the gap between fully lubricated bearings and dry sliding bearings.
They can be a plain polymer ( such as blue, red, yellow) or layered with a mesh of PTFE and a structure with epoxy resin and glass fiber.
POM Composite sliding bearings are suited for low-maintenance applications in tough running conditions. As a result of the lubricant retention pockets on the sliding surface, VIIPLUS POM Composite bearings are especially well suited for applications in dirty environments where lubricant cannot be supplied continuously or frequently.

Material
Support material:Steel copper-plated or tin-plated
Intermediate layer:Sintered bronze
Sliding layer:POM (MoS2)/lubrication pockets
Lubrication
We recommend lubricating POM bearings with grease. The grease must contain an antioxidant for environments with temperatures over 50°C. Greases containing EP additives or significant amounts of graphite or MoS2 are not generally recommended.
Lubricating with oil is only advisable with applications in which the oil temperature does not exceed 70°C.
1. Self-club. Layer POM 0.3-0.5mm. After the rolling process completed, POM is filled in the interstice of bronze layer, lubrication indents are stamped, which are full of oil grease, which will be removed and transferred on the mating surface, forms a physically lubricating film, which will reduce the friction cone. and protect the mating shaft.
2. Porous bronze layer; The layer provides bonded strength of self-pub. Layer.
3. Steel Backing The layer provides load & thermal conductivity
4. Copper / Tin layer.

Why choose pom composite bearing?
Maintenance-free operation
No lubrication required (PTFE composite)
Initial lubrication required (POM composite)
Minimum wall thickness, minimum space requirements
Accommodation of heavy loads
Wide range of temperatures
Good sliding properties
Virtually no stick-slip
High wear resistance
Less sensitive to edge loading (POM composite)
No machining required.

Mounting Advice
- Housing: Mounting bevel min. 1.5 mm x 15-45°
- Shaft: Mounting bevel 5 mm x 15°, edges rounded
- The application of an adequate force-fitting mandrel is advisable. Grease lubrication of the outer surface may be necessary when mounting.

Composite Bushing Bearing Application: Mining Hoist
Having successfully used self-lubricating pom bearings in critical brake applications, we now use them extensively on other assemblies where pins are heavily loaded as well. We’ve had an excellent experience with POM bushes industrial sleeve bearings. Compared with the total cost of a hoisting system, they’re a relatively inexpensive component. Something would have to change dramatically for us to consider another bearing.
