SPFG Copper Flanged Self lubricating Thrust Bushing – High Performance, Volume Discount, for Standard / Heat Resistant / Foreign Object Resistant
The SPFG copper flanged self-lubricating thrust bushing is a specialized type of bearing designed to provide high performance in applications requiring thrust support. These bushings are made from a copper alloy and incorporate solid lubricants, such as graphite, to ensure self-lubrication. This design feature allows the bushing to operate effectively under heavy loads and at low speeds without the need for additional lubrication, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.
SPFG Copper Flanged Self-Lubricating Thrust Bushings Highlight Features:
- Material Composition: Made from a copper alloy for superior thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance, with graphite for self-lubrication.
- Design Features: Equipped with a flange for easy installation and axial support, ideal for handling axial loads.
- Self-Lubricating: Their self-lubrication is a standout feature, achieved by embedding solid lubricants in the material, minimizing external lubrication and upkeep.
- Applications: Perfect for heavy loads and low-speed scenarios, especially where maintenance is difficult.
- Size Variety: Offers a broad selection of sizes to fit various shaft diameters and application needs, enhancing versatility.
Advantages:
- Maintenance Reduction: Significantly cuts down on maintenance, saving time and resources.
- High Load Capacity: Capable of enduring heavy loads, suitable for high-stress applications.
- Corrosion Resistance: The copper alloy ensures longevity in corrosive environments.
- Versatility: With various sizes and the flanged design, these bushings are adaptable to numerous applications.
The SPFG series stands out for providing durable, maintenance-free thrust support across a wide range of applications, thanks to its unique design, material properties, and broad size range.

SPFG copper flanged self-lubricating thrust bushing
The material is high force brass, and the embedded solid lubricant mainly uses artificial graphite and PTFE as the solid lubricant.
According to the bearing’s own conditions, the combination of different metal substrates and embedded solid lubricants can ensure that the product can meet the special needs of various temperature, load, movement and media conditions, and ensure stable and reliable work.
Solid lubricated bearings are especially suitable for no oil, high temperature, high load, low speed, anti-fouling, anti-corrosion, anti-radiation, as well as in water or vacuum solution infiltration and can not add lubricating film under special conditions.

Plain Bearings & Thrust Washers
Lubrication-free bushings/washers are oilless bearing components that do not require lubricating oil. Since slide oilless bushing bearings typically receive a high frictional resistance that generates heat, lubricants such as oil or grease are used to prevent scuffing or excessive wear that could otherwise cause frictional heat. Non-lubricated bushings do not require lubricating oil because the bearing body has a lubricating structure which is made possible by lubricating oil in the bearing housing or by the sinking of solid grease or the like. Lubrication washers are washers that can take thrusts.
Characteristic
Modern design for today’s self-lubricating bearing material is undergoing tremendous demand. Even in the severe operating environment and maximum extreme load conditions also require maintenance. As the cost of the increasing demand, business equipment and plant operation reliability requirements are also increasing. Metal self-lubricating bearings meet the long-term maintenance-free and under the conditions of use of self-lubricating, thus making the design of a reliable long-term self-lubricating system possible. Metal-type self-lubricating bearing material can be widely used in high-load low-speed rotation conditions, swivel, and linear reciprocating motion, but also for conventional lubrication can not be achieved or prohibit the use of the occasion, or in special conditions such as dust, shock load or irradiation conditions require long-term and stable use.
Features:
1. Can work continuously under the condition of no oil lubrication.
2. More suitable for heavy load and low-speed conditions, with good wear resistance and very low friction coefficient.
3. Suitable for reciprocating, rotating, and intermittent motion where oil film is difficult to form.
4. With corrosion resistance and chemical resistance.
5. Suitable for -40℃+300℃ temperature range.
6. Maintenance-free, long service life.
